Mikkel Hofstee - Treasurer
Mikkel is the author of the book Primal Human 2.1 that shines a light on how humanity's ancient genes struggle in the modern world. Humans, he says, have never been better off, and still obesity, depression, stress, addictions to screen time and unhealthy food are rampant. Why is that? In Primal Human 2.1 Mikkel digs deep to reveal causes and consequences but the book is also a hopeful plea to get closer to our nature and let progress work for us rather than against us.
As an entrepreneur he is the founder of Lifeguard, now one of the leading consultancy firms providing vitality programs to companies. He supported tens of thousands of people towards leading healthier and happier lives. He is also one of the founders of the Amsterdam City Swim, which by now has raised more than 10 million euros to fund research aimed at finding a cure for the deadly disease ALS.

Sjoerd Raaijmakers - Secretary
He is a purpose-driven, goal-oriented executive in the entertainment, agency, and news media industry. He is a strong creative business communications professional skilled in content strategy, development, production, and distribution, as well as media, advertising, and branding. He is also passionate about innovation and (digital) transformation processes with a human-centered approach.
In a corporate context, storytelling and publishing help to guide people and companies, and if authentic, help transfer the purpose of the brand.
Individually, stories help him escape daily routines, and they allow him to create social and psychological structures he needs to understand the world he lives in, to celebrate life and love. Stories make the world go round (sorry for the cliché).
And film is his favorite medium. Ever since he was a child, he has been passionate about movies; he must have seen thousands. Good and bad, mind-blowing, boring, and everything in between. Stepping into a temporary world with its own rules of engagement is always magic and never bores him.
